ACORE Capital Taps Mick Manning to Lead New Wealth Channel Platform
The commercial real estate lender will offer advisors and their clients both credit and select equity strategies, including approaches aimed at investors whose wealth sits in a single illiquid asset.

ACORE Capital, a New York-based commercial real estate investment manager with more than $17 billion in assets under management as of June 30, 2026, has launched ACORE Capital Wealth Solutions (ACWS), a platform that will offer its real estate strategies to financial advisors, family offices and their high-net-worth clients. The firm named Mick Manning, a distribution executive with more than three decades in the wealth channel, as president of the new unit.
Manning will run the platform's strategy, product development and distribution. He joins from Apollo's Bridge Investment Group, where he was managing director and head of national sales in the Client Solutions Group, leading distribution to RIAs and broker-dealers. He was previously managing director and head of capital markets at Forum Investment Group in Denver, and before that served as CEO of KBS Capital Markets Group and Pacific Oak Capital Markets.
Credit and Equity Offerings
ACWS will offer real estate credit and select equity strategies, drawing on the underwriting ACORE applies as a lender and on its experience owning and operating properties. ACORE said the offerings are meant for high-net-worth investors seeking durable income, diversification, downside protection and tax-efficient real estate exposure. The announcement did not name specific products, vehicle structures, investment minimums or a launch date for the first offering.
Chief Executive Officer Warren de Haan described the platform as an extension of the business ACORE has built since its founding in 2015. He said the firm continues to see opportunity and deal flow, and that raising capital from the wealth channel will let it invest more and deepen its relationships with borrowers, to the benefit of all of its investors. He added that the firm intends to bring the same relationships, underwriting and asset management capabilities to advisors and their clients.
Concentrated Holdings
ACORE tied the launch to an allocation gap, saying individual investors hold less commercial real estate and private real estate credit than institutional investors do. The firm said the gap is widest among the wealthiest individuals, whose net worth is often concentrated in a single illiquid asset, and that ACWS strategies are designed to convert such holdings into diversified, income-producing and tax-efficient investments. The release did not describe how those conversions would be structured.
ACORE originates, acquires and manages commercial real estate credit and select equity investments for institutional investors globally and for high-net-worth investors in the U.S. In addition to its New York headquarters, the firm has offices in Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco and Dallas.
