Carlyle Private Equity Fund Adds $57.6 Million as Its NAV Reaches $472.8 Million
Class I units took the largest share of the October 1 raise, and a Carlyle affiliate again bought $1 million of Class C units.
October 28, 2026

Carlyle Private Equity Partners Fund, L.P. sold approximately $57.6 million of limited partnership units on October 1, 2026. The round follows the roughly $299.9 million the evergreen private equity fund raised on September 1. Total transactional net asset value reached $472.8 million as of September 30, compared with $163.5 million at the end of August.
Six Classes Take New Money
The October 1 sale spanned six unit classes:
- Class I: 1,128,098 units for $36,054,002
- Class S: 314,043 units for $9,996,000
- Class E-I: 267,029 units for $8,539,588
- Class E-A: 62,880 units for $2,007,750
- Class C: 30,003 units for $1,000,000, purchased by an affiliate of the general partner, CPEP GP, LLC
- Class E-S: 1,571 units for $50,000
The affiliate's $1 million Class C purchase matches its September commitment and is twice the $500,000 it put in during each of the June and August rounds.
Each unit was priced at its class's transactional NAV as of September 30, and the fund finalized unit counts on October 23 once those values were calculated. The sale was part of the fund's continuous private offering under Regulation D. Some investors bought through CPEP Feeder, L.P., a Delaware partnership for certain U.S. tax-exempt and non-U.S. investors.
Per-Unit Values
Per-unit transactional NAV across the fund's eight outstanding classes ranged from $31.82 for Class E-S to $33.33 for Class C as of September 30. Class E-S units were valued at $31.21 at the end of August. Class I was the largest class at 5,099,079 units, followed by Class S at 4,176,028 and Class E-I at 3,689,012. The fund's two A-series classes, valued at $32.17 for Class A-I and $31.94 for Class A-S, took no new money in the October round. The per-unit figures do not reflect class-specific fees, expenses, or other assets and liabilities attributable to classes at the feeder.
Expense Cap
The fund's investment advisor continues to limit Specified Expenses to 0.60% of net assets, annualized, through October 1, 2027, the end date set when the expense support period was extended in September. The advisor may waive part of its management fee or absorb or reimburse fund expenses to stay within that limit.
