Bridgeview Real Estate is a Dallas, Texas-based owner, developer, and operator of commercial real estate, focused primarily on multifamily and mixed-use properties across Texas. Founded in 2009 and rebranded from MayCo Realty in 2011, the veteran-owned firm has grown into a family of integrated companies that together manage more than $900 million in assets. Bridgeview handles acquisition, development, construction, capital raising, brokerage, and property management in-house through affiliated entities, keeping each stage of a project’s life cycle, from underwriting through disposition, under one roof.
The Bridgeview platform spans seven affiliated entities: Bridgeview Multifamily for acquisitions and ground-up development, Bridgeview Construction as general contractor, BV Capital for private equity capital raising and investor relations, BV Securities as a FINRA-member broker-dealer, BV Realty Advisors for commercial brokerage, WH Management for property management, and Bridgeview Real Estate Exchange as sponsor of Delaware Statutory Trust offerings. The firm entered industrial net-lease investing in 2020 and launched its DST program in 2022, giving 1031 exchange investors passive fractional ownership of institutional-grade commercial properties alongside its core multifamily developments.
Founder and principal Steve May built Bridgeview after more than a decade in commercial real estate lending, where he was involved in over $2.5 billion in total transaction volume. Brian Griggs serves as chief operating officer of the Bridgeview companies, Ross Curtis is president of BV Capital, and Dave Cochran is president of BV Realty Advisors. The firm invests on behalf of institutional partners, private investors, and its own principals, while its DST offerings are distributed to accredited investors through broker-dealers and registered investment advisors.
