New director brings AI-driven capital introduction expertise as the company sharpens its focus on international licensing and patent enforcement.
May 22, 2026

ParkerVision, Inc. has appointed Anthony Bowers to its board of directors, filling a vacancy created by the recent retirement of longtime director Lewis H. Titterton, Jr.
The Jacksonville, Florida-based radio-frequency technology company announced the move on May 21, 2026. Bowers will serve as a Class II director, stepping in after Titterton departed the board on May 15.
A capital-markets veteran with AI-era credentials
Bowers currently serves as Director of Corporate Sales at Intro-act, LLC, a capital introduction firm that uses artificial intelligence to match public company issuers with investors whose strategies align with the issuers’ profiles. His career spans more than three decades in corporate and institutional sales, including senior roles at:
- OTR Global — investment research
- Goldman Sachs — institutional sales leadership
He earned an MBA in Accounting and Finance from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from Amherst College.
Leadership reacts to the transition
Chief Executive Officer Jeffrey Parker said the company welcomes Bowers’s combined expertise in corporate investor relations and institutional investing. According to Parker, Bowers also brings familiarity with ParkerVision’s strategic goals and operational hurdles, offering a distinctive viewpoint for the board as it continues building out its international patent licensing program and exploring additional growth avenues.
Parker also acknowledged Titterton’s long-running contribution, praising his mentorship and guidance. He noted that Titterton, who ranks among ParkerVision’s larger shareholders, is expected to remain a supporter of the company’s overall direction even after departing the board.
Context: licensing and litigation strategy
ParkerVision, traded over-the-counter under the ticker symbol PRKR, develops and licenses proprietary radio-frequency technologies used in wireless communication products. Its commercial strategy centers on licensing those innovations to wireless solution providers. In parallel, the company is pursuing multiple patent enforcement cases in U.S. courts, asserting that its protected intellectual property has been used widely without authorization.
The leadership change arrives as ParkerVision continues to navigate a phase emphasizing licensing revenue and the defense of its patent portfolio. By bringing in a director with deep capital-markets connections and a current role tied to AI-driven investor engagement, the company appears to be positioning itself for sharper visibility among institutional shareholders during a period of active patent litigation and licensing expansion.
