November 4, 2026

SkyBridge Opportunity Fund paid tendering shareholders $61,668,849.46 on or about October 29, 2026, settling in full the promissory notes issued under the tender offer it launched July 30, according to a final amendment filed November 2.
Shareholders validly tendered 798,136.375 shares before the offer expired at 11:59 p.m. New York time on August 26. The fund accepted 61,111.028 shares on a pro rata basis under the offer's limit of 5% of outstanding shares. In September, the fund told shareholders the offer was oversubscribed and that it would repurchase only about 7.66% of the shares each investor submitted. The unaccepted portion of a tender is not carried forward, so shareholders who still want to sell those shares have to tender them again in a later offer.
The payout came in above the $52,913,563.49 the fund listed as its estimated aggregate maximum purchase price when the offer launched. Accepted shares are bought at unaudited net asset value as of the valuation date, which for this offer was September 30, and the offer documents told shareholders that share values would likely change between the tender deadline and that date. The fund reported unaudited net assets of $1,058,271,255.50 as of June 30, or $865.8594 per share.
Previous round
Tender volume was similar in the fund's previous offer, launched January 27, 2026. Shareholders tendered 792,633.965 shares in that round and the fund accepted 64,378.34, paying $57,255,066.29 on or about April 29 for shares valued as of March 31.
How payment worked
Each shareholder whose shares were accepted received a promissory note. The offer terms allowed the fund to pay for repurchases from cash on hand, sales of portfolio assets, withdrawals from the investment funds it holds, and possibly borrowings. Shareholders tendering less than 95% of their shares were to be paid within 30 days after the valuation date. Those tendering 95% or more were to receive at least 95% in that window and the balance within 90 days.
SkyBridge Opportunity Fund is a closed-end, non-diversified management investment company organized as a Maryland statutory trust and advised by SkyBridge Capital II, LLC. Its prospectus states that the adviser expects to recommend semiannual repurchases as of the last calendar day of March and September, and the fund has offered to buy back shares on a regular basis since June 30, 2003.
