Goldman Sachs Private Credit Corp. Raises $150 Million as Portfolio Tops $18 Billion
The vehicle’s investment book expanded even as per-share net asset value edged lower and leverage crept up.
July 21, 2026

Goldman Sachs Private Credit Corp. sold roughly $150.3 million of unregistered shares in early July, marking a sharp step up in fundraising for the non-traded business development company and pushing its investment portfolio to approximately $18.2 billion as of June 30, 2026.
A Larger Fundraising Round
The bulk of the capital came through Class I shares, with 6,097,725 sold for about $149.8 million. A smaller Class S tranche of 18,109 shares brought in roughly $445,000. Final share counts were fixed on July 20, 2026, with the sales exempt from registration under Section 4(a)(2) of the Securities Act along with Regulation D and Regulation S. Purchasers represented themselves as accredited investors or non-U.S. persons.
The July round is nearly double the roughly $84 million the company raised in its prior monthly cycle.
June Distribution and Performance
The company also confirmed its June distribution, declared in early May, of $0.1850 per share across all three classes. After stockholder servicing and distribution fees, net per-share amounts were:
- Class I: $0.1850 net, 9.0 percent annualized yield
- Class S: $0.1677 net, yield listed as not available
- Class D: $0.1797 net, yield listed as not available
The distribution is payable on or about July 28, 2026, to holders of record as of June 30.
Total return based on net asset value was modestly positive but softer than the prior cycle. Class I shares returned 0.3 percent for the month, 2.8 percent year-to-date, 7.2 percent over one year, and 9.4 percent since inception in April 2023. The newer Class S and Class D shares, launched earlier this year, posted year-to-date returns of 2.0 percent and 2.4 percent respectively.
Balance Sheet Snapshot
Net asset value stood at approximately $9.2 billion, with NAV per share of $24.57 across all three classes, down slightly from the $24.66 recorded two months earlier. Fund leverage measured 0.9 times average net assets. The company characterized the figures as preliminary management determinations, cautioning that final quarterly and annual figures could differ materially.
